TRAININGS FOR EARLY EDUCATORS
High-Quality Training Options Designed for Early Educators
Self-paced
Our self-paced online courses are designed to give students the flexibility to learn on their own time and at their own speed. Students follow interactive presentations with learning checkpoints and quizzes throughout the course to help students stay engaged and reinforce the information.

Instructor-led
Instructor-led Eager-to-Learn (ETL) courses are online courses for in-depth learning on a variety of topics. All instructor-led courses utilize message board discussions and weekly live text or video chat sessions. Students also complete a reflective assignment, which is an opportunity to communicate one-on-one with your instructor about what you’ve learned

In-person Training
We offer a variety of in-person trainings at a wide range of venues throughout the state. Learn directly from a qualified trainer and engage in active discussion with other child care educators. Training options include one-time events, multi-session events, and credential programs.
To learn more about in-person trainings and the sessions being offered in your area, contact the Professional Development Advisor at your local Child Care Aware of Minnesota agency. You can also search and register for trainings on Develop.
Online trainings seem to work best for our staff as we are able to build them into their scheduled work day rather than taking time off to travel for a training.
Classes I have taken have been good, taught at a level that is both engaging and educational. I always walk away with a few new ideas.
