Local Child Care Data Now Available

A new feature on the Child Care Aware of Minnesota website allows users to search for local child care data about their Minnesota region. The data includes the total number of young children, the number of licensed child care programs by type, the regional average weekly rates, and desired and licensed program capacity. This real-time information can help inform child care searches, grant and scholarship programming, and policy development.

To access data for the region your county is in, please go to the local child care data webpage and select your county from the drop-down menu.

Diane has been at Child Care Aware of Minnesota for the past year after a long career in nonprofit program management, strategic communications consulting, and philanthropy. She manages all aspects of CCAoMN’s communications and marketing work and leads the communications team. She holds a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Concordia College – Moorhead.
