Requirements
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) requires all Minnesota licensed child care programs to complete a Child Care Emergency Plan. Keeping Kids Safe is a guide available to help programs create a plan and prepare for emergencies.
Emergency Preparedness Training
"Emergency Preparedness: Creating an Effective Plan" is offered through our Eager-to-Learn courses in English, Spanish, Hmong, and Somali languages. Visit EagertoLearn.org and search for “emergency preparedness” courses.
