As a trainer, you play an important role in Minnesota’s early childhood workforce. Our professional development system depends on the knowledge and skills you’re able to share with caregivers throughout our state. You help improve the overall care and education that thousands of young children receive every day.
To acknowledge your valuable role, the Minnesota Department of Human Services has asked Child Care Aware of Minnesota to create an observation and mentoring support program for early care and education trainers like you. As part of this program, you’ll have a chance to be mentored by an expert trainer. This is not an evaluation and will not determine your ability to continue training within the system. Like in any profession, having a mentor relationship is a wonderful opportunity to learn and improve your skills.
