Applications

A complete application includes several supplemental materials. You will need the following when putting together your complete T.E.A.C.H. application.

  • Sign up for Develop, Minnesota's new quality improvement and registry tool (formerly the Minnesota Center for Professional Development)
  • Complete appropriate applications and participation agreements

Center/School-Age Care Employee or Family Child Care Provider

  Please include the following documents with your completed application:

  •   Most recent Schedule C tax form (family child care providers)
  •   Recent paystub (child care center employees)
  •   Current program license
  •   Signed participation agreement
  •   Knowledge and Competency Framework Learning Record from Develop
  •   Financial aid award letter or FAFSA application confirmation page
  •   College acceptance letter or current unofficial transcript

KinderCare employees (teachers, center directors and assistant directors)

Center Director/Assistant Director/Other Administrator

Early Childhood Trainer Scholarship

Please include the following documents with your completed application:

  •   Financial aid award letter or FAFSA application confirmation page
  •   College acceptance letter or current unofficial transcript
  •   A copy of your trainer certificate from MNCPD

Application Deadlines

T.E.A.C.H. accepts applications at any time, but those applying for a scholarship to use during a specific semester must submit by appropriate deadline below:

Fall Semester - August 15
Spring Semester - December 15
Summer Semester - May 15

Judy Lindman Forgiveable Loan Application

A limited number of scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors interested in pursuing a career as a child care or school-age care professional. Each year, applications are due in the spring (by April 3) and awarded by May 1.
